A collage in shades of soft pink and mauve, contrasted with deep violet.

Collected painted silk and velvet pieces form abstract compositions through thoughtful positioning and layering, preserving traces of their past without being overly precious. Sometimes this involves pressing abstract shapes into velvet, creating reflections and a sense of movement.

The collages are inspired by recent moon phases, a partial solar eclipse, and the works of abstract expressionists Robert and Sonia Delaunay, Rothko along with Klee’s use of colour.
