An opulent, soft hand-painted silk/viscose velvet cushion cover in an ombre mid blue to amethyst to deep blue. So tactile and soft to the touch, you'll want to snuggle up to this cushion. Groups of cushions can be bought together or commissioned.
Soft subtle washes of colour are painted onto velvet and then rich deeper pigments are painted to contrast, sometimes blending haphazardly but also beautifully. The fabric is then steamed to fix the colour. The colour seems to come alive after it is steamed and looks so much richer than the photograph allows.
It has an overlapped envelope style opening at the back in deep blue velvet.
